Legendary Pop-Punk band, Blink-182 could make an appearance at Leeds Festival 2024, according to fans.
The band had several UK tour dates planned to promote their new album ‘One More Time’, but cancelled them due to drummer Travis Barker having an urgent matter related to his family.
Police have revealed that thousands of grams of illegal drugs were seized at this year’s Leeds Festival weekend.
A total of 1,257 grams of various substances and 461 pills were found on revellers.
A total of 39 drug-related arrests were made at the August Bank Holiday bash, 13 of which were for possession of illegal drugs with the intent to supply.
Owners of a sustainable fashion boutique, Trad Collective in Headingley, are turning abandoned tents from Leeds Festival into clothing and accessories.
Their aim is to give new life to discarded festival gear.
In the aftermath of the annual bash held at Bramham Park, hundreds of tents, along with clothing, sleeping bags, and various camping gear were left behind.
James Fenwick and Josefin Wanner, owners of Trad Collective, have embarked on an upcycling mission, repurposing the salvaged materials to prevent them from ending up in landfill sites across the country.

1. Save money on tickets
Firstly and most obviously, the music is the biggest reason why you would want to attend a MUSIC festival. When the line-up gets confirmed closer to the time of the festival, there is likely to be several acts you will want to see live. The great thing about a festival is that instead of seeing all these bands individually, you get to tick them off in one weekend which will most likely end up saving you money when you take into account booking fees, transport etc to individual gigs.
So this is probably one of the most practical reasons why going to Leeds Festival is a good idea – it could potentially save you a ton of money, especially if you go to the main stages and check out the big bands that are touring at that point.
A student has shared their story of working at Leeds Festival, explaining its incredible perks.
Bethany Madden took to TikTok to explain that she’ll never purchase a standard ticket again – because staff get so many benefits compared to standard ticket goers.
She explained:

Leeds Festival 2024 has kicked off ticket sales with a special discount offer.
The festival, set to take place at Bramham Park, has introduced a loyalty scheme to reward frequent attendees of the bash.
Those who qualify for the loyalty program can now secure their tickets at heavily reduced rates through Ticketmaster.
Revellers that attended Leeds Festival 2023 said they experienced an extended wait for their Silent Disco refunds to come through.
The disco, run by ‘Sigma’, is quoted as being the ‘World’s biggest’ by official organisers.
Entry cost £10 with an additional £20 charged which was refunded when headphones were returned.
Changes to the stages at next year’s Leeds Festival are expected following a recent interview with chief organiser, Melvin Benn.
Talking with British magazine NME, Benn said things “don’t stand still” and he anticipates there will be a few updates to the 2024 bash.
“There are some changes that I’m looking to make – probably some slight stage changes.
Cleaners at Leeds Festival 2023 said they were “utterly appalled” by the left-over tents, camping equipment and trash.
The bash, which took place between 25 August to 27 August saw over 90,000 revellers descend on Bramham park, leaving behind an unprecedented amount of waste.
Clean-up crews were deployed after the festival finished to attempt to ‘salvage tents and equipment for a refugee charity’.
